During the month of April, we see dramatic progress on building three. More importantly, we see a tremendous commitment to quality by general contractor, Ouellet Associates.
Located in Brunswick, Maine, Brunswick Station is a mixed-use development featuring retail/office space, a New England-style inn, residential condominiums, and a train station ('Brunswick Station'). This prime piece of real estate is located at the steps of Bowdoin College and will be a stop on AMTRAK's Downeaster route by 2012.
Two buildings in Phase I are complete and tenants include Bowdoin's College Store (2 Station Avenue), Scarlet Begonias Restaurant, Byrne's Irish Pub, Park Row Interiors, and the Brunswick Visitor Center (16 Station Avenue). The third and final building in Phase I (22 Station Avenue) is near completion with tenants expected to take occupancy in August 2011. The entire first floor will be home to Mid Coast Hospital's Walk-in Center and Adult Primary Care offices and the entire second floor will be occupied by OA Centers for Orthopaedics.
Phase II is The Inn at Brunswick Station (4 Noble Street at corner of Maine and Noble Streets). The Inn feature 52 guest rooms and suites, a festive tavern for cocktails and cuisine, and distinctive function space for up to 150 guests. The decor will reflect local history, traditions, and a natural landscape. Designed to provide a warm welcome to Brunswick and Bowdoin visitors, the Inn opened for business on June 27, 2011.
