Maine Street Station Groundbreaking Held October 14, 2008








On Tuesday, October 14th, 2008, a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by J. Hilary Rockett, Jr. of JHR Development of Maine marked the rebirth of this vacant, 5-acre parcel at the foot of Bowdoin College. The Maine Street Station groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Maine Governor John Baldacci as well as approximately 100 local and state officials, business owners, train representatives, and neighbors.

Local Team To Bring Maine Street Station To Life.

JHR Development of Maine is proud to have assembled a team of local companies to create Maine Street Station: Ouellet Associates, Inc. (general contractor) and Lincoln/Haney Engineering Associates, Inc. (structural engineering) both of Brunswick and Gawron Turgeon Architects of Scarborough.

Maine Street Station Receives Unanimous Approval From Town of Brunswick Planning Board.

On June 24th, 2008, the final plans for the Maine Street Station redevelopment project received a unanimous vote from the Town of Brunswick's Planning Board. This was a major milestone and vote of confidence leading JHR Development of Maine, LLC to formalize its locally based construction, architecural, and engineering teams.
